If you have decided to move to Mallorca it\u2019s really important to know that we have a good choice of internationals schools<\/p>\n

The main difference between the\u00a0international schools on the island<\/strong>\u00a0is the language . he majority of these schools teach\u00a0in\u00a0<\/strong>English and follow the British curriculum<\/strong>, we have\u00a0 also\u00a0 a\u00a0French school<\/strong>\u00a0 with a French cursus and\u00a0also a\u00a0\u00a0German and Scandinavian college<\/strong>. If you would like your child to be educated in a second language, then obviously he\/she needs to either start very young or already have a good knowledge of the language. It\u2019s not a\u00a0 realistic think that\u00a0 your children can go to this kind of school\u00a0\u00a0 after 12 years .<\/p>\n

You should have a test at the entrance of the school to see the level of language , think that a lot of parents want those schools for they children so it\u2019s quite normal to find a waiting list , be prudent and contact asap to be sure that it will be possible to find them a place where you want.<\/p>\n

Most of the schools are around Palma area but it\u2019s really interesting to know that we have now an international school in Manacor<\/p>\n

As said we have only one german school in mallorca , this school is near the\u00a0 lycee fran\u00e7ais , and they are working together<\/p>\n

You must be German , or have a very high level , in the first school you learn in german , in the\u00a0 Secondary school students study for the Mittlere Reife and Abitur qualifications, with examinations conducted in cooperation with the German School in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s\u00a0 really a good option if you want to have a child fluent in four languages , they taught in French , they are learning Spanish and catalanish as also English or german if they want .<\/p>\n

The program is the French cursus\u00a0 but they can also receive a grade in Spanish selectividad system , it depends of their results in the baccalaureat .<\/p>\n

They is a lot of Swedish people in Mallorca , so\u00a0 we have a Swedish school for children from 3 to 18 . in the last part\u00a0 distant course for Swedish gymnasium<\/p>\n
